Project Description

On October 10-12, 2002, the Utton Center hosted its first national conference to address interstate surface and ground water issues. This conference began the five-year process that resulted in a Model Interstate Water Compact. The conference gathered national experts in law, biology, hydrology, economics, and social science, among other fields, to bring their best thinking and experience to bear to address transboundary water issues.
