Community Governance Attorney Commission

The Community Governance Attorney Commission (CGAC) was established by appointment of the Governor per Senate Bill 244 Community Governance Attorney Act (CGAA), to provide more legal capacity to non-profit organizations doing this work and to develop a pipeline of attorneys who understand relevant law and communities. This acts as part of a broader goal of providing more legal education on relevant law.
