Getting honest about the Colorado River crisis with Anne Castle and John Fleck
May 16, 2022
Utton Writer in Residence John Fleck and his co-author Anne Castle of the Getches-Wilkinson Center at the University of Colorado Law School spoke last week with Duke Reiter at 10 Across about the challenges facing the Colorado River as climate change saps the river's flow.
Fleck and Castle, former Assistant Secretary of the Interior for Water and Science, talked about their recent paper arguing that the dire situation on the river has opened a window of opportunity for the serious steps that will be needed to bring the Colorado River to sustainability.
